Why Hamilton?: When I first toured Hamilton, I had been so enthralled with the potential of having an open curriculum. The ability to pick my own courses and find my own path through life was exactly what I wanted. When I met Coach John and Coach Brogan, they only furthered my desire to pursue both my academic and athletic goals as a Continental.

Favorite Past Sports Memory: My favorite sports memory took place in March 2019 when I was competing at the ISCA Northeast Showcase with my club team, YFD. It was my last race of the meet, the 200 breast A final, and I was up against a swimmer whose seeded time was multiple seconds faster than mine. In a thrilling race, I was able to come back in the last 50 to win the gold. I will always remember looking back across the pool to see all of my coaches, surrounded by my teammates, cheering me on like crazy from the other side. It was a moment I will never forget.

Who is your role model?: My family made me the person I am, my coaches made me the swimmer I am, my teachers made me the student I am and my peers made me the friend I am. Throughout my life, I have had many significant people that I have looked up to. I strive to mold my persona to hold a piece of them within me; therefore, I find it difficult to pick just one piece of me.
