Wilkins '22 takes three events in men's swimming loss to Colby

Hamilton College's Nick Wilkins '22 finished first in three events for the second straight day as the Continentals competed against Colby College in a dual meet at Trinity College's Natatorium on Sunday afternoon.

Colby emerged with the 149-111 win in the neutral site meet held in Hartford, Connecticut. The Continentals travel to Rochester, N.Y., on Saturday, Jan. 12 to take on Rochester Institute of Technology and Ithaca College at 1 p.m.

Wilkins won the 100-yard breaststroke by nearly two seconds with a time of 59.32 seconds. He edged Colby's John Connors by .03 seconds and posted a time of 49.07 seconds in the 100 freestyle in the most exciting race of the day. Wilkins wrapped up the weekend with a winning time of 53.35 seconds in the 100 butterfly.

Jordan Allen '19 took second place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.33 seconds and the 200 back (2:03.38). Will Brindisi '22 landed in third place in the 1,000 free (10:55.52).
