Men's squash breezes past Vassar for third win this season

The Hamilton College Continentals posted an 8-1 win against Vassar College at Vassar's squash courts on Tuesday night.

Six Hamilton players won their matches in three straight games. The Continentals (3-8 overall) are 34th in the College Squash Team Rankings while Vassar is at No. 55.

Callum Sondhi '20, who played at the first position, and Tristan Chaix '20 (fourth position) evened their records at 4-4 with victories. Rufus Somerby '22 also picked up his fourth win with a triumph at the third position. Atticus Jones '19 didn't allow a point in the first game and went on to win in three at the second position.

Oliver Constable '22 (fifth position) and Nick Randolph '21 (ninth position) were the other Hamilton players who swept their opponents. Will Nocito '22 and John Buckley '19 prevailed in four games at the seventh and eighth positions, respectively.

The Continentals compete in the 2019 NESCAC Men's Squash Championship at Middlebury College this weekend. Friday's opponent and start time are to be determined.
