The Hamilton College Continentals lost 9-0 against the University of Western Ontario at Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Continentals (0-3 overall) are 30th in the Dunlop College Squash Team Rankings while Western Ontario (4-2) is 11th. Hamilton doesn't compete again until Jan. 11, 2019, when the Continentals host Franklin & Marshall College at 6 p.m.

The Hamilton men's and women's squash teams have joined forces with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Vs. Cancer program. Throughout the season, the teams are raising awareness and funds for local kids with cancer, and they celebrated their efforts on Sunday. In partnership with Vs. Cancer, the Continentals have selected the pediatric oncology unit at Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse to receive a portion of the funds they raise.

Vs. Cancer was started by pediatric brain cancer survivor and former collegiate baseball player Chase Jones. The program empowers any sports team, athlete or community to help kids with cancer. As a signature fundraising campaign of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Vs. Cancer proceeds help fund child life programs in local hospitals and groundbreaking research to cure pediatric brain tumors, the deadliest childhood cancer. More children die from cancer in the United States than any other disease.
