Men's squash coasts to 9-0 win over Vassar

The Hamilton College Continentals bested Vassar College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in a home match at Little Squash Center. Hamilton (7-11 overall) is currently 27th in the College Squash Association team rankings and Vassar is 48th.

Colin O'Dowd '19 claimed a win in three games at the first position -- his team-high 11th win of the season. Callum Sondhi '20 was also victorious in three games at the second position. John Sawyers '21 won in similar fashion at the third position, conceding only two points to his Vassar counterpart.

Nicholas Conzelman '20 defeated his opponent in three games at the fourth position, as did Tristan Chaix '20 at the fifth position. Atticus Jones '19 surrendered one point to his opponent at the sixth position.

Jonathan Ruth '18 claimed the win in three games at the seventh position. Ward Urban '18 dropped only one point on the way to the win in three games at the eighth position. William Jordan '20 was a winner by default at the ninth position. Ruth and Urban were recognized during a Senior Day ceremony.

The Continentals will host Colgate on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5:30 p.m. in a neighborhood match at Little Squash Center.
