The Hamilton College men's lacrosse team hosts Wesleyan University on Saturday, April 21 for a NESCAC game at 1 p.m. on Steuben Field.
The Continentals will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday and will recognize seniors Michael Alderman '18, Brendan Burke '18, Conor Craven '18, Jordan Fong '18, Jack Gaul '18, Matt Greene '18, Noah Huizenga '18, Adam Markhoff '18, Quinn Morris '18, Matt Saltzman '18, Noah Weissmann '18 and Eric Zurmuehle '18.
Chad Morse '19 racked up three points in Hamilton's (1-12 overall, 0-9 NESCAC) 8-5 loss at Connecticut College on April 14. Morse has registered at least one point in every game this season and leads the Continentals with 23 goals and 29 points.
Chris Conley '20 is second to Morse with 25 points and 16 goals. Zach Larsen '19 has a team-high 12 assists, and Matt Greene '18 leads the defense with 16 caused turnovers. Henry Hill '19 has scored 15 goals and Clay McCollum '19 has 14 goals. Eric Zurmuehle '18 has won 139 of 266 faceoffs with 78 ground balls, and James Sanderson '21 has scooped up 31 ground balls. Kyle Gately '20 (13.84 GAA, 48.8 save pct.) has recorded over 719 minutes with 12 starts in goal.
Wesleyan (10-2, 7-1) -- nationally ranked fifth in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III coaches top 20 coaches poll -- have won two straight after falling 14-10 at No. 3 Tufts University on April 7.
Sophomore goalie Otto Bohan anchors the Cardinals, leading the NESCAC in both goals against average (7.45) and save percentage (60.5) with 531-plus minutes in net. Carter Hawthorne tops the conference with 42 assists and ranks fifth in Division III with 3.18 assists per game. Ronan Jacoby and Harry Stanton are top-five in the NESCAC with 37 and 36 goals, respectively. Zach Zavalick has won 97 of 168 faceoffs with 66 ground balls. Jake Cresta totals 19 caused turnovers and 29 ground balls.
