Rob Haberbusch enters his seventh season as the Continentals' head coach. Haberbusch, who was selected the 2017 NESCAC Men's Hockey Coach of the Year, has won 61 games at Hamilton and owns a 33-13-8 record the last two seasons.

The Continentals finished 2016-17 with an overall record of 20-5-4 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Hockey Championship.
