Men’s golf competes at Williams Spring Invitational

The Hamilton College men's golf team travels to Williamstown, Mass. this weekend to compete at the Williams College Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 21 and April 22. Tee times begin at 9 a.m. on both days at Taconic Golf Club.

In additional to the hosts, other NESCAC teams in attendance include Amherst College, Bates College, Bowdoin College, Middlebury College, Trinity College and Wesleyan University.

The Continentals sent 10 golfers to SUNY Delhi last Saturday, and Hamilton's top quintet posted a four-man team score of 306, which defeated Delhi by 10 strokes.

Joe Tigani '18 topped the 18-golfer field at Delhi with a 74 and leads the team with a 75.08 stroke average, and Andrew Watson '19 was runner-up with a 75. Bobby Osborn '20 tied for third with a 77 and he is second on the team with a 77.33 stroke average.

During the fall season, Tagani led the Continentals at Williams' Fall Invitational as he tied for 12th place with a 150, 8-over par. Hamilton recorded a four-man team score of 626 during the weekend, and Trinity captured the team title with a 584.
