The Trinity College Bantams defeated the Hamilton College Continentals in match play at the John's Island Club's West Course in Vero Beach, Fla., on Thursday.

Trinity won seven matches, Hamilton captured one match and another was halved. The Bantams are positioned just outside the Golf Coaches Association of America Top 25 as they have the most points out of the 24 other teams receiving votes.

Joe Tigani '18 won on the 18th hole in an exciting match against Trinity's Will Rosenfield, who finished second in the NESCAC Championship Qualifier in the fall. Matt Cesare '20 earned half a team point for the Continentals after he rallied to win the 16th, 17th and 18th holes and halved his match.

Hamilton won't return to the links until the SUNY Delhi Invitational on April 14 and 15.
