The top four teams and -- for the first time -- the top four individuals who are not from a qualifying team will move on to the 2018 NESCAC Men's Golf Championship in the spring. The winner of the qualifier will host the championship event.

Hamilton, Wesleyan and Colby golfers start teeing off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Sunday's round begins at 10:30 and the last group tees off at approximately 12:22 p.m. Trinity is hosting this event at Indian Hill CC where the par-72 layout measures 6,513 yards.

The Continentals aim to qualify for the championship in the spring for the eighth time since the NESCAC went to this format in 2007-08. Hamilton was one of the top four teams at the 2015 qualifier and played in the 2016 championship.

Joe Tigani '18 leads the Continentals into this event for the last time in his Hamilton career. Tigani has made the all-conference and all-region teams three times. He was the medalist at the 2017 Hamilton and St. Lawrence University invitationals already this fall, and owns a team-best 75.38 stroke average. All eight of his rounds this fall have been in the 70s.

Bobby Osborn '20 (77.38) has a pair of top-five finishes this fall and Andrew Watson '19 (77.75) has landed in the top 10 twice. Jeremy Benjamin '19 (78.25) finished second in the season-opening Hamilton Invitational and six of his eight rounds have been in the 70s.

Nicholas Schanzer '21 (78.50) was the 2017 Utica College Fall Invitational medalist after he carded 73s on Sept. 23 and 24. The tournament was played at Yahnundasis Golf Club, which happens to be the Continentals' home course. Schanzer was one of four Hamilton players at the invitational as the rest of the team played at the Williams Fall Invitational.
