2020-21: Named to the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team... Earned Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Scholar Athlete honors... Rowed for the second varsity eight at the NESCAC West Division men's rowing event.

2019-20: Rowed for the first varsity eight at the Head of the Genesee Regatta and at the 49th Head of the Schuylkill Regatta... Named to the 2020 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

2018-19: Rowed for the second varsity eight at the New York State Collegiate Championships as the M2V8 finished second (6:18.626)... Rowed for the second varsity eight at the NESCAC/National Invitational Rowing Championships as the M2V8 finished fourth (6:28.316) in the petite final.

Personal: Undeclared major... James attended Summit High School... He is the son of Yon and Francie Cho.
