Lauren Cupp

Lauren (Steates) Cupp '07 was named head coach of the Hamilton College men's and women's golf teams in July 2017 after she served as interim head coach during the spring season. In 2023 Peyton Sichol '26 was selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship and received honorable mention all-America status. Ramon Aroca Gonzalez '26 was voted the 2023 NESCAC Men's Golfer of the Year and Rookie of the Year, was named to the Division III All-Freshman Team and recognized as a honorable mention all-American. Thirteen of Cupp's student-athletes made the 2023 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team.

Hamilton Head Coach

  • Guided the men to the 2022 NESCAC title and an appearance in the 2022 NCAA Division III Championship

  • Qualified for the 2016 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship and made the cut for match play competition
  • Four Syracuse Post-Standard/Apogee Investment Management Championship women's titles
  • 14-time Utica women's district champion
  • Four Greater Utica City Amateur women's titles
  • Nine Rome City Amateur women's titles
  • Selected the 2019-20 Adult Female Sports Personality of the Year by the Rome Sports Hall of Fame
