Hamilton College's Lizzie Clarke '20 (Larchmont, N.Y./Mamaroneck HS) was selected a National Field Hockey Coaches Association co-Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The national award is the first for the midfielder who was named the NESCAC Field Hockey Player of the Week on Monday. Clarke scored both goals in the fourth quarter of Hamilton's 2-1 NESCAC championship quarterfinal victory at nationally ranked No. 4 Bowdoin College. She tied the score on a penalty stroke with 3:52 left and added the game-winner on a penalty corner with 1:44 remaining. The multi-goal game is the fourth of Clarke's career and her second in the last four contests.

The Continentals -- the seventh seed for the championship -- are advancing to the NESCAC semifinals for the second time (2016). Hamilton (9-7 overall) takes on the championship's top seed in Middlebury College on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. in Middlebury, Vt.
