Hamilton College's Michaela Giuttari '20 (Warwick, R.I./Loomis Chaffee School [Conn.]) was selected the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's Division III Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

This is the second national honor of Giuttari's Hamilton career -- the other was in November 2016. She was named the NESCAC Field Hockey Player of the Week on Monday.

Giuttari helped lead the nationally ranked Continentals to a pair of wins last week. She scored two goals, including the game-winner 8:05 into overtime, in a 4-3 victory at then-No. 18 Amherst College on Oct. 6. That goal was the 46th of her Hamilton career and moved her into second place on the program's all-time list. She added a goal and an assist in a 4-0 triumph against William Smith College on Oct. 3.

Giuttari is tied for 16th in Division III with 1.25 goals per game and is 13th in the nation with 2.92 points per contest.

The nationally ranked No. 14 Continentals (10-2, 6-2 NESCAC) host No. 9 Bowdoin College on Saturday, Oct. 13 at noon in conference action.
