Women's tennis drops 9-0 decision at No. 13 Middlebury

Continentals take on No. 8 Williams in another NESCAC road match on Sunday, April 21

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Hamilton College Continentals dropped a 9-0 decision against nationally ranked No. 13 Middlebury College in a NESCAC match played at Middlebury's Proctor Tennis Courts on Saturday, April 20.
 
Hamilton (6-6, 2-5 NESCAC) travels to No. 8 Williams College for another conference match on Sunday, April 21 at 10 a.m. The Continentals finish their regular season with four straight NESCAC road matches.
 
Hannah Apsey '25, who is 13th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Northeast Region singles rankings, was outlasted in a third set super-tiebreaker by ninth-ranked Sahana Raman. The first set also went to a tiebreaker that Apsey won, 10-8.
 
Apsey and Stephanie Pratt '25 (sixth) were edged 8-6 by Raman and Amy Delman (fifth) in a tight match between two doubles teams ranked in the Top 10 in the region.
