HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Hamilton College's Peyton Sichol '26 recorded a 15-over par round of 88 in the first round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Mission Inn Resort & Club's El Campeon Golf Course on Tuesday, May 9.
 
Sichol is tied for 94^th place out of 151 golfers after the first 18 holes. She shot 45 on the front nine and 43 on the back. Sichol made par on seven holes and birdied the 125-yard, par-3 15^th hole.
 
Sichol's round is her highest this season. She came into the championship averaging 77.78 for 18 holes. Sichol is the 27^th-ranked individual in Division III.
 
Sichol begins her second round on the 10^th hole at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10.
