Men's tennis ends regular season with loss at No. 4 Middlebury

Griff '25 is ranked in singles and doubles in Northeast Region for the Continentals

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- The Hamilton College Continentals dropped a 9-0 decision against the Middlebury College Panthers in a NESCAC match at Middlebury's Nelson Recreation Center on Sunday, April 23.
 
Hamilton (2-13, 2-8 NESCAC) is 19th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Region Top 20 rankings. Connor Griff '25 is sixth in the regional singles rankings and Griff and Coby Feldman '26 are seventh in the regional doubles rankings.
 
For the second day in a row, the Continentals' Nicolas Gritz '25 extended his opponent to a third set super-tiebreaker at fifth flight singles. Nathan Jackson rallied from a set down and clinched the match by a 10-6 decision in the super-tiebreaker.
 
The Panthers (12-3, 8-2) are ranked fourth in the Division III Top 40 coaches poll and second in the region.
