WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. -- Hamilton College's
Andrew Harrell '23 captured first place in the men's 5,000-meter run in the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Monmouth University Spring Opener at Kessler Stadium on Sunday.
Harrell's time of 14:52.61 is a personal outdoor record in the event. Eight Division I runners finished in second through ninth place behind Harrell. The Continentals put three athletes in the top 20 of the 800-meter run led by
Brogan Deem-Ranzetta '24 in 10th place out of 54 finishers. The meet served as the start of the 2023 outdoor season for Hamilton.
