Women's golf defeats SUNY Cortland in dual meet in Florida

Sichol '26 and McKeen '24 led the Continentals with rounds of 77

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Hamilton College's Peyton Sichol '26 and Alaina McKeen '24 led the Continentals to a dual meet win against SUNY Cortland at Halifax Plantation Golf Club on Friday.
 
Hamilton posted a four-person team score of 319 and defeated the Red Dragons by 26 shots. The Continentals received votes in the latest Women's Golf Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll.
 
Sichol, who averaged 76.70 for 18 holes in 10 rounds during the fall season, carded a 77. McKeen also recorded a 77, which is the best round of her Hamilton career. Olivia Strigh '25 recorded an 81 and Sarah DeSanto '25 added an 84.
 
The Continentals are back on the course on April 1 and 2 at a tournament hosted by Vassar College.
