The top three finishers in all individual and relay events at the NESCAC swimming and diving championships are all-conference performers. Karlson and Vicioso are all-NESCAC for the first time.
Karlson finished in third place in the 100-yard freestyle championship final with a time of 50.62 seconds. Her time made an NCAA Division III championships 'B' cut. She set the team record of 50.34 seconds at last year's NCAA championships.
Vicioso broke his own team record in the 50 breaststroke and finished in second place in the championship final with a time of 25.06 seconds on Feb. 17. He also eclipsed his own team record and took third place in the 100 breast with an NCAA championships 'B' cut time of 54.67 seconds on Feb. 18.
Geissinger is the first NESCAC women's or men's swimming coach of the year from Hamilton since the conference championships began in 2001. He guided the Continentals to seventh place in this year's championships, which is the highest finish for the women since they were sixth at the 2011 meet. Geissinger has been Hamilton's coach since 2017.
