The Bowdoin College Polar Bears swept the three doubles matches and went on to an 8-1 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Maine Pines Racquet & Fitness on Sunday afternoon.
Hamilton (5-3, 1-3 NESCAC) begins a five-match homestand on Thursday, April 7 when the Continentals host Union College for a non-conference match at 4 p.m. Bowdoin is 16th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division III Team Rankings. Hamilton's three losses have come against ITA-ranked teams.
Kate Solowey '25 was a winner in straight sets (7-5, 6-3) at sixth flight singles for the Continentals. Solowey has two singles victories this spring.
Stephanie Pratt '25 nearly gave Hamilton a second team point at second flight singles, but lost in a marathon third set super-tiebreaker, 17-15.
