Mya Berretta '23 is the women's hockey team's December Athlete of the Month.

The left winger tied for the team lead with four goals and five points. Mya started the month with a goal in a 2-1 overtime win at Trinity. She registered a goal and an assist in a 6-3 victory against then-nationally ranked No. 15 Endicott on Dec. 10 and scored two more goals in a 3-0 triumph against the Gulls the next day. Mya has helped lead the 13th-ranked Continentals to an overall record of 7-2-0, including a perfect 5-0 in December, so far this season.
