Aksel Reid ’27 is the March Athlete of the Month for the national champion men’s hockey team.

The goaltender posted a 2.15 goals against average, a .919 save percentage and a 4-1 record in five starts. Aksel was named the Most Valuable Player for the final weekend of the NCAA Division III Championship. He made 35 saves in a 6-3 win against Aurora in the semifinals on March 27. Aksel saved his best for last in the national final as he stopped a career-high 39 shots in the Continentals’ 2-1 overtime victory against Hobart.
