Jade Matthias ’26 is the women’s swimming and diving team’s February Athlete of the Month.

Jade broke two team records and qualified for the NCAA championships in the 50-yard freestyle and 100 backstroke at the NESCAC championships from Feb. 12 to Feb. 15. She was also part of three relays that either set or tied team records, including a 200 free relay that qualified for the national meet. Jade tied for third place in the 50 butterfly and posted a record time of 24.71 seconds, and set the record in the 50 free with a time of 23.33 seconds. In addition to the 200 free relay, she competed on 200 medley and 400 free relays that recorded team-record performances.
