William Roth ’28 is the men’s swimming and diving team’s January Athlete of the Month.

In the first meet of the month against RIT, Will finished first in the 100-yard backstroke and was edged for the top spot in the 200 back by less than a tenth of a second. He swept the 100 and 200 back titles at Ithaca and won the 100 back in the season’s final dual meet at RPI on Jan. 31. Will claimed victories in the 50 and 100 back in a tri-meet against Williams and Middlebury. He was undefeated in the 100 back during January.
