Jade Matthias ’26 is the December Athlete of the Month for the women’s swimming and diving team.

Jade secured an NCAA championships ‘B’ cut time and finished second in the 100-yard backstroke (56.56 seconds) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Winter Invitational. She was part of a team-record performance in the 200 medley relay as well as a 200 freestyle relay that finished one one-hundredth of a second off last year’s NCAA-qualifying time. Jade was also runner-up in the 50 free at MIT. In a dual meet against Division I Colgate, she placed third in the 50 back, the 100 back and the 100 individual medley.
