Sammy Higgins ’26 is the field hockey team’s November Athlete of the Month.

Sammy scored a little less than two minutes into the second sudden-victory overtime period and lifted her Continentals to a 2-1 win against SUNY Geneseo in a 2025 NCAA Division III Championship first round game at Hamilton's Goodfriend Field on Nov. 12. It was the first NCAA tournament victory in program history and the last game on Goodfriend Field for Sammy.
