Emma Tansky ’25 is the April/May Athlete of the Month for the softball team.
The senior opened the month with her fifth win of the season, allowing just two runs over 5.2 innings of relief in a 5-4 NESCAC victory against Colby on April 5. On April 13, she picked up another win with a complete game performance against Bates, giving up just one run, striking out four, and contributing at the plate by going 2-for-3. Tansky notched her second shutout of the season on April 20, holding Wesleyan to three hits and striking out six in an eight-inning 1-0 victory. She tied her career high with four hits, scored twice, and stole her 15th base of the season in the first game of a doubleheader against Amherst on April 27. Tansky wrapped up her collegiate career, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases in the Continentals’ season finale against Williams on May 3.
