The varsity eight are the April/May Athletes of the Month for women’s rowing.
The boat defeated Rochester Institute of Technology in a head-to-head race on the Erie Canal on April 12 and finished fifth in the petite final at the National Invitational Rowing Championships on May 11. The lineup includes coxswain Sonya Doyle '28, stroke Erin Sweeney '26, 7-seat Violet Cue '25, 6-seat Caroline Chapman '25, 5-seat Annika Benn '25, 4-seat Elaina LaGiglia '26, 3-seat Jamie Munroe '26, 2-seat Cate Logan '27 and bow seat Ella Lepine '25. They helped Hamilton to a ranking of 12th in the May 13 Division III Top 15 poll.
