Lleyton Mendieta ’28 is the March Athlete of the Month for the men’s tennis team.

Lleyton posted a 10-3 record at the top two singles spots and was 10-2 in doubles matches. He kicked off the month by securing back-to-back victories in three sets at No. 2 singles at Rochester and RIT on March 2. Lleyton recorded two wins at No. 1 singles and two more doubles victories in a 6-1 triumph over Vassar and a 7-0 sweep against Hope on March 19. He won all of his singles and doubles matches in a 6-1 victory over St. Lawrence and a 7-0 defeat of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on March 20. Lleyton finished the month with a win at No. 2 singles and Hamilton's lone doubles victory in a 6-1 triumph at Trinity on March 30.
