Alexis Mayer ’26 is the March Athlete of the Month for the softball team.
Alexis hit .457 (16-for-35) with 17 runs scored, 19 RBI, seven walks, six stolen bases, three doubles, four triples and two home runs in 12 games. She posted a .943 slugging percentage and .545 on-base percentage. Alexis led the team with three runs batted in, highlighted by her first home run of the season, in a 6-1 win over Western Connecticut State in the Continentals’ season opener on March 16. She drove in a team-best three runs on three hits in a 9-0 shutout of Rutgers-Newark. Alexis crushed a home run and a double and led the team with four runs batted in an 8-3 victory over Western Connecticut State on March 17. She led the team with three runs batted in and added two hits in a commanding 10-2 victory over Grinnell on March 18. Alexis notched her fifth multi-hit game of the season with two hits in a convincing 12-1 NESCAC win over Trinity on March 28.
