Kendall Harris ’27 is the December athlete of the month for the women’s basketball team.
Kendall averaged 18.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game as the Continentals finished the month with a 5-1 record. The 6-foot, 1-inch forward was selected the NESCAC Player of the Week on Dec. 9 after she poured in a season-high 27 points and grabbed 10 boards in a 67-64 win against SUNY Geneseo on Dec. 3. Kendall posted 25 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocked shots in a 67-65 overtime victory against the University of Rochester on Dec. 7. The two impressive performances earned her the USBWA Division III Women’s National Player of the Week on Dec. 10 – the first Hamilton women’s player honored by the USBWA. Kendall led the Continentals with 17 points, including a perfect 10-for-10 at the free-throw line, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots in a 75-64 win at SUNY New Paltz on Dec. 10. She capped off the month with a solid performance of 16 points, nine boards and a team-best three blocks in the Continentals’ 71-43 victory against Albion at the Smokey Ballenger Classic in Westerville, Ohio, on Dec. 30.
