Keira Rogan ’28 is the women’s cross country team’s November Athlete of the Month.
Keira started November by placing second out of 157 runners in the NESCAC championships at Bowdoin. She earned the conference’s rookie of the year award and first team all NESCAC honors for that performance. Keira was runner-up again out of 154 finishers in the NCAA Niagara Regional championships at Fredonia State two weeks later. She earned all-region distinction and qualified for the NCAA Division III championships with that performance. At the national meet on Nov. 23, Keira ended up in 15th place out of 293 athletes for the best finish by a Hamilton female runner in the national championship since Maggie Hanson '02 was ninth in 2001. She collected all-America honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for that performance.
