Betsy Overstrum ’24 is the May Athlete of the Month for the women’s track and field team.

Betsy took fourth place out of 36 runners in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a personal-record time of 11:12.11 in the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships on May 15. She was in ninth place after the first 200 meters but gradually worked her way up to fourth by the second-to-last lap.
