Liza Greene ’22 is the women’s cross country team’s athlete of the month for November after she qualified for and competed in the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Nov. 20.

Liza finished in 12^th place out of 141 runners in the 2021 NCAA Division III Niagara Region Cross Country Championships at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, N.Y., on Nov. 13. Her finish and her time of 23:38.4 on the 6-kilometer course was good enough to put her in the NCAA championships as an individual for the first time. For her efforts, Liza earned all-region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. She recorded one of the best times of her career (23:17.8) at the national meet in Louisville, Ky., on her way to 218^th place out of 292 athletes.
