Lily Murphy ’27 is the September Athlete of the Month for the women’s cross country team.

She was runner-up out of 102 runners with a time of 14:29.4 on the 4-kilometer course in Hamilton’s Short Course Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 9. Lily paced Hamilton with a fourth-place finish in the University of Rochester’s Yellowjacket Invitational on Sept. 16, and was selected the NESCAC Performer of the Week on Sept. 19. The first-year runner led the Continentals with a top-10 finish out of 351 runners with a season-best time of 21:59 at Lehigh’s prestigious Paul Short Run.
