The third varsity eight are the April/May Athletes of the Month for the rowing program.
The Continentals earned the bronze medal by finishing third in the grand final at the National Invitational Rowing Championships/NESCAC Championships on May 12. The medal is believed to be Hamilton’s first at the regatta. The boat also took bronze at the New York State Collegiate Rowing Championships, finishing behind only the Continentals’ and Ithaca’s second varsity eight entries. The members of the third varsity eight were: Callie Burd ’26 (coxswain), Emma Krupp ’24, Kate Broeksmit ’26, Brynn O’Connor ’23, Annika Benn ’25, Gabby Pia ’24, Reilan Garczynski ’26, Ally Berkowitz ’25, Elaina LaGiglia ’26.
