Phil Bernstein ’23 is the April/May Athlete of the Month for the baseball team.

Phil plated three runs on two hits and added two stolen bases in a 20-10 win against Amherst on April 3. The senior finished with three hits and tied a then-career best with three RBI against Williams on April 7. Phil was selected the Continentals’ most valuable player as he finished 2-for-3 with three runs scored, two runs batted in and a season-high three stolen bases in the 33rd playing of the Jackie Robinson Classic against Utica on April 18. He went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with four runs scored, two runs batted in and a walk in a 24-1 win over SUNY Polytechnic on April 23. Phil drove in a career-high four runs and was a double short of the cycle with his second homer of the season in Game 2 of a NESCAC Championship quarterfinal series at Colby.
