Heller received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the first time in track & field. Student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better and either compete in an NCAA indoor or outdoor championship or finish the regular season ranked in the top 50 in an individual event or in the top 35 in a relay on the official NCAA Descending Order List. Heller was ranked 29th in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 36:42.26 at the 2018 NESCAC outdoor championships.

A program must have at least a 3.00 cumulative team grade point average in order to be eligible for the All-Academic Team award. The Continentals' team GPA was 3.43. The Hamilton women have collected this award seven straight years under head coach Ellen Hull. Hamilton women's track & field student-athletes racked up a combined total of 12 NESCAC all-academic team honors between the winter and spring releases.
