Berry ‘19 improves her school record at regional championships

The Hamilton College women's track and field team finished 13th in the 24-team field at the 2018 All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Indoor Championships at Ithaca College's Glazer Arena Athletics and Events Center on Saturday, March 3.

Hamilton -- ranked 10th in the Atlantic Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association -- competed in just three events on Saturday but placed three athletes in the top five.

Cat Berry '19 knocked .02 seconds off her own program record in the 200-meter dash, placing third in the event with a time of 25.75 seconds.

Grace Heller '19 finished 12th in the 3,000 meters (10:39.12).

Four Continentals participated in the 800-meter run. Hanna Jerome '18 finished fourth and Mary Lundin '19 finished fifth with times of 2:18.90 and 2:19.32, respectively. Brigit Humphreys '21 crossed the finish line in 2:23.13 and Michaela Guinee '18 finished with a time of 2:27.93.

Next up for Hamilton is the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala., on March 9 and 10.
