Hamilton defeats Union in women's golf dual match at Skenandoa

The Hamilton College women's golf team squared off with Union College in a dual match at The Skenandoa Club in Clinton on Saturday afternoon.

The Continentals finished with a four-person team score of 364, which was 11 shots better than Union's team score of 375. The teams finished their 18-hole round despite showers that plagued the golfers for most of the afternoon.

Hamilton's Libbie Warner '19 led the 10-player field with an 82. Warner entered the day with a team-best 80.33 stroke average for 18 holes. Katie Veasey '17 carded an 86 and Charlotte Chandler '17 added a 92 for the Continentals.

Hamilton wraps up the season with the 2017 Williams College Women's Golf Spring Invitational at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass. The two-day tournament begins on Saturday, April 22.
