Tripp Miller ’18 broke two school records at the 2018 NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships.
Miller's time of 56.85 seconds in the preliminary heats of the 100-yard breaststroke on Feb. 24 bettered the old record of 57.57 seconds by David Cecere '02 that had stood for 16 years. Miller then lowered his own record and finished sixth in the championship final with a time of 56.78 seconds.
Miller posted a time of 2:03.26 in the preliminary heats on Feb. 25 of the 200-yard breaststroke and then finished second in the championship final in 2:02.63, eclipsing the school record by more than three seconds. The old record of 2:05.69 held by David Cecere '02 had stood for 17 years. Miller also made the NESCAC all-conference team for his performance.
