Hamilton College's Tripp Miller '18 smashed another school record on the last night of the 2018 NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at Bowdoin College's Greason Pool on Sunday.

Miller posted a time of 2:03.26 in the morning's preliminary heats of the 200-yard breaststroke and then finished second in the championship final in 2:02.63. He met an NCAA "B" cut for the 2018 Division III Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships and eclipsed the school record by more than three seconds. The old record of 2:05.69 held by David Cecere '02 had stood for 17 years. Miller also made the NESCAC all-conference team for his performance. The top three individuals and relays in each event earn all-conference honors.

Jesse Bennett '19 ended up in fifth place in the preconsolation final (21st overall) of the 200 breast with a time of 2:09.15. Bennett moved up to sixth place on the program's top 10 times list.

Ben Cooper '18 landed in fifth place in the consolation final (13th overall) of the 200 backstroke (1:53.95). Cooper established a personal record of 1:53.83 in prelims but remained in fourth place on the top times list. Evan Tatro '20 took third place in the preconsolation final (19th overall) of the 200 back. Tatro's time of 1:54.49 moved him up to fifth place on the top times list.

Trevor Pearson '18 finished 18th in the 1,650 freestyle (16:38.62) and diver Philip Marks '21 was 12th in the 3-meter springboard event with 198.65 points.

The Continentals ended up in 11th place in the team standings with 376 points.
