The Hamilton College men's soccer team suffered a NESCAC setback Sunday afternoon, losing 1-0 to nationally ranked No. 3 Tufts at Love Field.

With the loss, the Continentals fall to 4-4-1 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Tufts stays on top of the NESCAC standings with a 4-1-1 conference record and 7-1-1 overall.

Joseph Braun scored the lone goal 13:40 into the second half for the Jumbos. Zachary Trevorrow crossed the ball from the left side of the field to Braun inside the 18-yard box. Braun maneuvered his way free of the defenders and fired a shot to the upper left corner of the net.

The Continentals' most promising scoring opportunity came in the 64th minute as Joe Harrington '18 ripped a shot from 10 yards out that was blocked by the Tufts defenders. Harrington quickly gathered the loose ball and fired a second shot that deflected just outside the left post.
