The Hamilton College men's basketball team is ranked 15th for the second week in a row in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released on Monday, Feb. 12.

The Continentals (20-3 overall) defeated then-No. 5 Middlebury College 102-83 on Friday night but dropped an 81-67 decision against then-No. 8 Williams College on Saturday afternoon in NESCAC home games played at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.

Hamilton plays two more home contests this week. The Continentals wrap up the regular season against SUNY Cobleskill in non-conference action at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Hamilton, which finished in a five-way tie for first place in the conference standings at 7-3, earned the third seed for the 2018 NESCAC Men's Basketball Championship and will host No. 6 seed Tufts University in a quarterfinal at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. The No. 3 seed is the highest for the Continentals, who are hosting their first NESCAC postseason event since Hamilton joined the conference for basketball in 2011-12.

The Continentals are ranked in the D3hoops.com poll for the seventh straight week. Hamilton won 20 games in a season for the 17th time in program history and the first time since the Continentals went 23-5 in 2005-06.
