Frank Cristiano is in his third year on the Hamilton College football coaching staff. Cristiano, who is responsible for the tight ends, was the defensive coordinator for New Hartford High School varsity football from 1995 to 2014.
Cristiano coached at New Hartford for a total of 24 years and played two seasons at the school for former football coach Don Edick. Cristiano went on to SUNY Cortland where he was a three-year starter on the offensive line for a team that was then led by current Hamilton coach Dave Murray.
Cristiano, who was born in Utica, graduated with a degree in physical education and owns a restaurant in the Mohawk Valley. He and his wife Susan have been married for more than 20 years and they reside in New Hartford with their 10-year-old son Cutler.
