Weber working with national rowing teams again in 2018

Hamilton College head men's and women's rowing coach Rob Weber has a busy summer ahead of him as he prepares to assist with the U.S. rowing program.

Weber will attend the U.S. women's under 23 selection camp and will coach the four at the 2018 Henley Royal Regatta in England during the first week of July. He will then travel with the U.S. team for the 2018 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Poznan, Poland, from July 25 to July 29 when he will coach the women's four and the women's four with coxswain. In 2017 Weber coached the U.S. women's four at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships.

After the under 23 championships, Weber will assist the senior national team as they prepare for the 2018 World Rowing Championships held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in September.

Weber led the Hamilton women to first place in the varsity 8 petite final and the men to third place in the varsity 8 petite final at the 2018 National Invitational Rowing Championships in May. The Continentals were ranked eighth in the final women's varsity 8 Division III Top 15 coaches poll of the regular season.
